• Shri K.J.Polytechnic is affiliated with Gujarat Technology University(GTU).
• Being a government institute, admission for all above seats is done online by Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses (ACPDC) only.
• Shri K.J.Polytechnic is  Government polytechnic under the Directorate of Technical Education, Gujarat.
• Shri K.J.Polytechnic was established in 1961 with three diploma courses Civil, Electrical and Mechanical with a total intake of  180. Today it has an intake of 1080 in seven diploma courses named Civil, Computer Aided Costume Design & Dress Making, Chemical, Computer, Electrical, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering.
• It is the only Government institute offering Diploma in Environment Engineering.
• Shri K.J.Polytechnic spreads in an area of 26 Acres. It is situated in Bharuch on Old National Highway No.8 (Also known as college road). Shri K.J.Polytechnic is at a distance of 1.0KM from bus stand and 1.5Km from Railway Station.
